This event will be held on the first Friday of every month for the remainder of the year. Various Hawaiian music artists will be performing. Since 1999, Lito has been a professional musician performing on Hawai’i Island. Whether it be for kamaʻāina or malihini (locals or tourists), Lito continues to entertain and compliment the mood of his venues treating each event as a unique experience. While performing Lito often shares the “mo’olelo” or History and/or story behind many of the Hawaiian songs that he performs as he helps to paint a beautiful setting to the music that he sings. Lito has balanced his life of education and entertainment by incorporating them together through the art of engagement. So no matter if you are sitting in one of his classes or at one of his events, you will leave entertained and educated.

Wes Hagen of J. Wilkes Winery

J. Wilkes is a brand dedicated to producing wines from the greatest AVAs (American Viticultural Areas) on the Central Coast of California. Jeff Wilkes was a winegrower and grape salesman for more than 20 years before becoming the icon for sourcing and producing quality vineyards in Bien Nacido and Soloman Hills in the Santa Maria Valley and French Camp Vineyard in Paso Robles. Although he passed away in 2001, the winery remains dedicated to Jeff’s tireless commitment to value, quality, and showcasing the best of the Central Coast’s diversity of meso-climates in their wines. It is truly a project of passion! We welcome Wes Hagen, winemaker of J.Wilkes to Sansei Kīhei to share his insights, experience and the oenological magic in some of the most highly acclaimed wines from Santa Barbara and Paso Robles. Bob May Golf Academy

Noted golf instructor and former PGA Tour pro Bob May will bring his Golf Academy to Waikoloa Beach Resort from June 15 - July 15, offring island golfers and resort guests a chance to learn from the man who “schooled” Tiger Woods in the 2000 PGA Championship at Valhalla.

May pushed Tiger to the limit in a three-hole playoff that ultimately went to Woods, but the golf world never forgot May’s tenacity and fortitude. May’s approach to teaching includes both the physical and mental aspects of the game, and is geared to all players, from accomplished sticks to high-handicap players to juniors. From fundamentals to finesse, May’s instruction is inspired by and emphasizes the importance of what he calls “a passion for the game.”

In 1991, he was a finalist in the British Amateur, and—with Walker Cup teammates Phil Mickelson and David Duval—defeated the European team. That same year, May turned pro, playing competitively on the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour (now the Web.com Tour) for over 20 years, winning the British Masters in 1999, achieving four second-place titles on the Web.com Tour and three on the PGA Tour, including the unforgettable match with Tiger Woods.

May will be giving private hourly lessons for adults, juniors, couples, as well as nine- hole playing lessons. Using the Trackman swing performance analysis, May will tune up your swing and provide his unique insights into how to be successful on the golf course, based on his more than 20 years of experience on Tour.
